Dental restoration

The procedure for the direct restoration of a tooth with composite materials is most often used to treat dental caries.

This workmanship requires the removal of the caries and both the esthetical and functional restoration of the tooth.

The composite material is put on the teeth in several layers, by using a specialized light to strengthen each layer. The composite material is formed to fill the tooth. Then it is polished to prevent coloring and wear. When the composite materials are glued to the teeth, they create a close match of the natural tooth.

Such restorations can be even used in cases where part of the tooth structure has been lost.
